pk update

pk is walking today, he can get on and off the bed by himself and into and out of the cat box. hes still not able to do some things but thats pretty good. soon ill be done with his antibiotics. yey for magically fast recoveries. maybe ill get a full nights sleep soon. i woke up a lot last night to make sure i hadn't rolled over and crushed his bad leg. im sleepy.

PK Today

PK has been eating almost his normal amount, and I no longer have to hold it in my hand for him, he'll eat out of a dish. He's drinking water too! His foot is really swollen but he can sit with it bent now. Many improvements. I'm very excited. My room is a little cold so hes sitting under a blanket but ealier today I opened up the curtains for him and he seemed to enjoy looking out the window.

Only two more days of antibiotics and then he'll just seem like a lazy cat instead of a sick cat.

Pk part 3

Pk is eating real cat food again! He's a little too hurting in the leg to walk now days, I think earlier he had more pain killers and was willing to walk but now hes not. So occasionally I (or David) just have to pick him up and set him in the cat box. I think hes sorta embaressed he cant do it himself but whatever at least we havent had any accidents. Right now he's doing an awesome job cleanign his wounds too. And they stopped gushing everywhere!

See that gross stain on the edge of the blanket, my bed is covered in those from when pk was gushing more. David borrowed my computer over at his house and it still had some of pk's blood on it and he said violet seemed really upset. I bet she'll be nicer to him next time he walks me over to her house.

pk ate almost a whole jar of chicken flavored baby food last night! elizabeth said it was mcdonalds for cats. its also good cause its watery so we know he wont be getting dehydrated.

unfortunately this morning i have to go to work. but when i petted him this morning instead of the pathetic quiet whine he had been making yesterday it was the normal petting a tired kitty noise! PK likes to talk a lot but he hasnt been meowing much since he got back from the hospital, I know once he is meowing my ear off again that he'll be doing fine.

Last night david and i fell asleep on my bed horizontally so that we wouldnt have to move pk. but david steamrolls in his sleep and eventually pk moved to the closet to sleep.

PK woke up with diarrhea this morning. boy was it stinky. hes been in some pain cause the pain medicine patch came off. i called the doctors about it and they said i could bring him in and theyd put it back on. im sorta tempted to just rest it on him while he sleeps cause hes been making some really sad kitty noises. he also wont eat today so far. im pretty worried but david thinks that he just needs to sleep a bunch. he might be going through withdrawals cause his pain patch seemed like really intense shit, his eyes were like rolling back into his head yesterday when he was under the bed.

i wish i could know for sure that pk would be okay, or at least the best way to take care of him. earlier while i was out he got out of the closet and jumped onto my bed by himself. he then slept and bled all over my computer. im glad all the keys still seem to be working fine.

hes home! minus lots of fur. he has two shaved bands on his front legs and one of his back legs is all shaved and theres a shaved spot on his tummy where he's getting the drugs out of a bag of fluid stuck to him, weird. hes super high, i dont really like it but its only a couple of days. im so excited hes home. he has to live only in my room for a month and a half! were gonna have some cabin fever.

well i slept for about 5 hours. Then the kitty hospital called and said I couldnt pick up PK as early as I had planned. Hes okay but had some bleeding in his leg overnight and needs extra rest and meds.

im too anxious to get him home to go back to sleep. todays going to be a busy day but at least i already have my banking done.

PK was attacked by two pit bulls today. He stayed overnight in the hospital. But can come home tomorrow. I was falling alseep at momokos b-day but now that im in bed i cant sleep.

He'll have to stay in my room for a couple of days, which means, Ill have to buy a litter box, how annoying. My room is gonna smell gross. And I'll have to clean cause there's clothes everywhere. I also have cookies to make and homework to do and I hoped to see Jaime. ahhh.

Im not sure what is making me so busy but it has to stop soon.

A girl playing boggle with me just said "that was sooo close" about a game that was 21 to 59. me with the 59 of course.

sigh but i just want to sleep so i can pick up pk sooner. i wish after that i could go back to sleep cause beds are warm and nice and i dont get enough time in them.

Today I took PK to the vet. I was nervous cause I was taking him by bicycle. He didnt like going in the cat carrier. But he was already neutered so no surgury today. The vet did say that the scab thats been on his chin since i got him isnt a scab its feline acne! So i have to wash his chin twice a day till it gets better. They gave me the meds for it for free! He hates me though.

This home i once refered to as my dream home is for rent. It's a tiny tiny house in a big garden. This is a picture of it from google street view (which is so creepy btw).

New friend.

PK aka Porch Kitty. He just showed up at our house, I think he liked the dogs and wanted to be friends with them. He's so cute. I'm so happy he adopted us. Hearts.
